    Talking One proud Mom tonight

I just got a phone call from my eldest daughter. She lives in Hamilton and has been doing a BA in Japanese for the past few years at Waikato Uni.

She has just received her final mark for her last paper, a B no less, and an invitation to graduate in October!

I am so proud of her!

Rach was an exchange student to Sendai High School 5 years ago...LOL.

She recently got a part time job as a tour party liason officer for an inbound tour company that arranges school tours from Japan. She will keep at that, and her beloved Horsey jobs...LOL till the end of the year anyway.

She has always wanted to go to Japan and teach, so she will probably look at that next year. There is a huge amount of very well paid work there if she wants to take it.

    Awesome work Rach!

Let me know if she is keen on the teaching thing, I had a cousin that did just that for two years and loved it, can flick you his e-mail if she's keen.

Thanks for that. She loves the culture, the food (apart from the time her host Mother put raw horse meat spagetti in front of her once LOL). The school year there starts July. So she has a bit of time to decide. At the moment her main priority is get the debt off her back. Horses and full time study make for very poor daughters...LOL
