    KERS for MotoGP?

Apparently Formula One cars are going hybrid and in 2009 they will be allowed to have a kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) producing up to 60 kW:
So, will we see this in MotoGP? Who wants to bet that Casey Stoner will adapt to it better than the others?

Yeah and apparently the BMW car at a test yesterday gave one of the mechanics a shock that knocked him to the ground. Also the red bull team started a fire at their headquarters the other week.

Could make for some spectacular retirements!!

That to do with the KERS? I thought it was basically just a big mechanical flywheel, no electrics involved?

Dunno, here is the article http://www.crash.net/motorsport/f1/n...ers_scare.html

Maybe they are using some sort of system to charge batteries and run an electric motor or something??

There are two sorts being tried out for F1: flywheel and electric battery. See
