    Warning

Bucket racing IS bad for you health

if you havent already heard you can get hurt
something I havent thought enough about and probably wont again
or at least not after the pain goes away

    i fell today
    not once but twice
the first time i broke my Clavier bone
and the second tim e i really did it in good
dam I should not try and avoid other riders that fall
that is why i fell the first time doing the major damage
and second i should not ride after for points
but what would you do 2x4th places in the f5
    and an 8th and 7th i think in f4
it was the last race of the f4 and i thought i had a chance to gain another place
the rider in frount was slowing and all i had to do was get around him. Pitty the rain was alson starting to fall hard

ah well now for some time off work again

have fun all see ya next time

I hear ya! The last time I went bucket racing (7 weeks ago) I broke my foot in several places and cracked a rib. Might be able to get back on a bike next week.....

I've had the fortune of never breaking anything not even playing full contact sport...but yes - falling hurts...even at the buckets!

    Hope you feel better soon

Ahh bad luck, it doesn't matter how you do it, falling always hurts. I would have been there to watch but I had a brick fireplace to remove....

    Hey Carl

That was bad luck mate, you made some good points in the F5. Hope all goes well and we see you out there again soon. We know how you feel old wobbler has been strugglinhg for a few weeks after breaking her collarbone

The track was very difficult to ride with many good riders having one or more ' offs '

I really struggled in race one with first time on the wets, I think I came last
Somebody suggested running the tyres at higher pressures than the slicks. So another 4psi in each wheel and a good dose of rain during the second race Gave me a good but very close win.

Cheers mate hope to see you soon

    yes you did
you started to go slower as the rain came down
so i started to try harder as it got more and more slipery
you should not have let it rain

but realy i should have settled back and just followed you around for 1 more lap
i had already busted my sholder before that anyway

realy i should not have been out there
not your fault at all you did everything right i just tried turning in a bit more than i should have
