    Rustys race report.

Well after missing the "Actrix series" last year, and just doing the "Pacific Summer series", it was time to get back into it, seeing i'am now classed as a local down this way now. One hour to travel to the track instead of the usual 5hrs.
Round 1 ; Taupo for me was a bit of a let down as i only finished one race, due to the battery failing on the bike. The race i finished in was also a bit hectic with the track pretty crowded, i came away with only a couple of points there.

Round 2 ; Manfield took my time as i had'nt been on it for nearly a year so had lots to learn again, really enjoyed it though, with the weather perfect, qualifying was'nt great, starting about 22nd on grid. Still survived the day and enjoyed the raceing with a few more points to the score board.

Round 3, "Rain" just what the doctor ordered. Arrived at 7am and set the bike up with full wets, qualified 10th, right in the middle of a good bunch of 400's, should be good.
Race 1. 12 laps. Had a good race with Chet, Clive, Warren and Johnathan Wagener, very close raceing which is great. Came out with a fourth place in Post Classic jnr's which was a good start to the day.
Race 2, shortend race to six laps, got a nice clean start, again good close raceing with the guys on the 400's, ran in fourth place most of the race till Chet lost it through the e'ses, so came away with a third place, and third overall for the day in Postie jn'rs.
Looking forward to the next round, on the full track.
Big thanks to the "Vic Club", and helpers another good day and well run meeting.
