Did you note the little bit of the race where they showed slide-bars displaying Rossi and Stoner's brake and throttle inputs at the bottom of the screen?

Stoner was all, WHAM full brake, WHAM full throttle, rinse and repeat. Rossi was feathering both of them much more noticeably.
its been like that the last 3 times ive seen them together like that.
i think ducatti need to wind up his traction control a notch.
    go rossi, go!
    oh and bridgestones rock!

Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

    shows some skill really

'Rossi's moment at the Corkscrew and a pass on Casey at turn five being the most memorable. The race was decided by what Casey first said was 'completely my mistake.' Later he was said he thought the mistake happened because Valentino braked a little early for Turn 11. That was at the post-race press conference; immediately after the race Casey had refused Rossi's hand in parc ferme and offered the opinion that some of the passes had been beyond aggressive.'

That's what you get at the top of the top level,Casey! . I was amazed that neither rider took each other out - riding like they were - that is class!

Above is an article about Casey's complaint and Rossi's response. I thought it was by far the most entertaining race of the season and Casey is being a whiney little cry baby. Roll on Brno

Jeez you've got a short memory Gaz! It was only last season that Rossi complained bitterly about Tony Elias's passing moves!! And none of them were that tough!

Yeah that is true. The only one that was fully dodgy was when rossi went onto the dirt down the corkscrew. When he came back on he nearly clipped stoner. The others were hard but fair, rossi wasn't giving an inch, stoner was giving too much room.

So if we are looking to find a key difference then that would be it.
The bikes, riders style, teams are completly different - but the tyres are very similar in technology - albiet engineered to their personal preference no doubt ?

Hey , what happened to Mr Ed ?
Yeah but wasn't Melandri on Bridgestones too, with same bike as Stoner and he'es yuuusless!

Nice dirt-tracking, why wasn't Hayden up there doing that, him being a dirt-tracker and all?

The racing was the closest we've seen for a long time, cos some of the maneuvers were pretty close.

Stoner tho should have just grinned. And thought silently about pay-back. He didn't and now Rossi knows he's got to him. And you know how it likes to do that to his (close) opponents.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

The last true challenge to Rossi's crown was poor old Sete....... he was never slower than Rossi, but Rossi beat him in racecraft and mind games.

It was a brilliant race between the 2 guys who are obviously a step above the rest (although an absent Dani and an early exit Lorenzo - on Michelins - may have been closer).
Rossi was BRILLIANT. I have enormous respect for both men as racers but lost A LOT of respect for Casey as a man after the race with his comments.
Lets hope the rest of the season brings races like that (with Dani and Lorenzo in with the mix as well!!)...

    what a great race...

I must say my respect for Stoner has dropped. He is clearly a great rider and made one of the greatest races in motogp but instead chose to effectively accuse Rossi of cheating instead of recognising a hard fought but superb race and moving to 2nd in the championship. Stoner comes across as a whinging moaner and not for the first time...

I'm with Rossi for the championship. Time for the Rossi mind-games to begin I think.
