My gosh, what an awesome experience that was ... I turned up with zeocen with some motorcycle tie-downs I had borrowed from FROSTY oh so long ago!

Stood on the back corner with Donor and Sparrowhawk and blardy oath! The smiles and grins on the kids you could feel them beaming through their lids!

I guess I was a bit of a distraction, red camo ninja in the long grass at the corner! Was great to see them ripping it up.

When I was allowed to go play on a dirtbike (first time ever!) man, was I in for a revelation. Aimed for the worse bumps, lousy lines and it still went over them not a prob!

Very very cool fun! End of the day with bbq going and manning the snarler station, the kids were poked out ... you know they had an awesome day when they can only barely pick up a drink, flop down and eat it all quietly!

Well done to all you guys! I only turned up to drop off some tie-downs and next I'm standing on a corner helping out and then ripping it up with the little 'uns!

Shit don't tell him that!!!! he was so excited he took a photo of it to take to school.

Woke up the next day and he had wheeled it away from the other bikes out of sight. I am sure he figured we would just forget it was there.

Hey folks can I ask your opinions here.
For the Next kids day do you think I should have some more easy/flat corners put in ?
do you think that a couple more of the overtaking bays should be used?
as an alternative I wonder if I should have 2 distinct groups doing 10 minutes each--the faster kids and the slower kids.

I think the track was perfect for purpose, a bit of variety but nowhere letting the kids get too fast. Tighter bumpy corners are fun for them whilst keeping a lid on it.

The passing lanes were a great idea but not always manned or operated correctly so I would just say maybe a better marshalling setup for those.

The one at the top that, I think Donor?, was marshalling was working well with two marshalls co-ordinating.

My two cents. It was pretty much perfect for most of the kids there.

I think You are right. Ill organise the 2 other passing bays better for next time --The one on the top right corner could have worked really well. and with 2 marshalls the one up to the top of the hill would have been great

frosty i would like to say mate it was all good, i didn't hear one kid moaning he/she was in my way, only concern for me was the start, bikes and kids everywhere lol, could have been a lot worse but we worked through it,
thought line kids up separate from ridin before, not ridin before, assign a bike start them on their way one at a time, the mass start at the beginning was hard.

The start had me a bit worried too--JUst like a KB trackday really---everyone chomping at the bit to get on track--a lil bit of carnage but then they all relaxed.
The funniest thing (IN HINDSITE) was the lil fella on a quad Conversation went- Frosty--"have you ridden before " Lil Kid "hes yes LOTS" Frosty--"ok well then just take it quietly and heat down the track then"
Lil fella jambed the throttle on and proceded -(on a straight bit of track) to get totally out of control and dissapear into the 4 foor high grass
Nothing was seen of hm for a minute or two then there came a wail "I'm, I'M STUCK"

Some more pics of an awsome day.
I thought the day ran just great Frosty, the faster kids were respectful of the slower kids and I even saw some of the slower kids doing a quick rear glance every so often.....bloody brilliant.
