It was deliberate -I diddnt want the kids going too fast its really for the slower kids --Unless we have a fast group then a slow group
- A more organised line of kids at the start instead of the see who gets a helmet first although they all made it away.
Couldn't agree more--I need someone to do this job
- The allocating of the rides got sorted later in the day with a cue formed. But some kids had seemed to have never ending runs while others seemed more parked up. Having said that they all got decent turns out there.
I agree again -A person lining the kids up or perhaps giving them numbers for each session ?
- Agree with shorter session times if it's a hot sunny day not just for the kids to water up but the adults standing out there eating dust to get a break.
That could work-only concern is the chaos in and out being intensified.
- I thought the first track layout was good. I left just as you set the second one up.
The reverse setup needed changing and there were entering the pits issues I need to work out
- I would like to see a tidier pit setup. It seemed that people were parked all over the place getting in the way of bikes coming in. The reverse layout was worse for that.
Yep I totally agree with that -I need help early in the AM to set up the pits so theres better flow
- It would have been great if the learner section didn't cross the main track and the learner area was visible to the pit area where most adults congregated would be good. It's funny they weren't far away but seemed to completely dissappear.
Sorry man NOTHING I can do about that one. the learner area is in the only safe place it can be. The track crossing is DEFINITELY an area that concerned me -I think for next time it will be marked with tape and the person on the corner before it will be better informed as to how things work.
- Try and source at least one bigger sized helmet. There was a kid who couldn't get his head into any of the helmets and we managed to borrow a flash road one for him. Without that generous offer the kid would have gone nowhere.
Sorry dude that was my fuck up--I had 1 big fullface sitting in my gargre-I forgot to grab it with the other ones
All in all I thought it went really well and the organised chaos at times also worked.
IN A NUTSHELL FOLKS I think this is a good thing we are doing
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
