Taumarunui Races October 11th and 12th

Buckets, Street Stocks and Motards racing weekend. On that wonderful swoopy kart track in the middle of nowhere. Nylon must be used to protect the track from pokey bits of the bike damaging the track. Please contact me if you want a entry form or more information. steve@millshonda.co.nz

    Entry form here:

This is a great little track & the racing ends up being worth the trip, esp for 2 days. Cheap accommodation at the Hilton or usually can camp at the track. (I'm getting soft these days & go for a bed).
Oh yeah the entry form should be updated to say 2008 & presumably a week before for entries.
& there will be a meal that evening I think.

There's free camping at the track, so no need to pay for accomodation.

If you come here to Taumarunui, you will not regret it, not ever. Track wet or dry it is a great ride.

We loved it so much, that we moved here in June, from Auckland.

So the answer is pretty short track, but the elevation changes & banked sweeper will take all day to learn. Nice footage Skunk. F5 bike desperately fires up the inside on turn 1 to try keep ahead of FXR.

Like a 1960s motel, but it is cheap, cleanish & close + run by one of the karting mainstays.

Sounds about right for me then.
Who wants their Bucket taken on the trailer (small cost)?
Could be room for passengers in the van (bigger cost - big still small)

I think we may be starters for this. At least 2 bikes on the trailer, not sure about us getting there, may ride over.
