Has anyone actually tried to read the websites linked to the first post?
I tried and after a while gave up. It may be the half bottle of merlot but to me it sounds like a whole load of bollox!
What next? Now motorcycling, one of the few pleasures left is carcinogenic!
Oh well fuck it! My doctor says my cholesterol is 9mm/l I bet that gets me long before the ELF's do!
Its never too late to have a happy childhood!
I remember seeing something about this a while back. At the time, I think the general consensus was "Oh, there's a surprise. This guy comes up with 'Biking causes radiation poisoning', and then suddenly there is the same guy with his 'Radical new stop radiation poisoning seat'!
I'd normally have been concerned if any other government was taking it seriously - but the UK Nanny State? I'm waiting for them to ban me from typing in case I damage my fingers!

That's just so wrong but...it sounds like the voice of experience so...
Why do you think this thread has gone belly up? Quite honnestly, I am hugely fed up with scientists finding something wrong with everything that's enjoyable.
I mean eh, don't get me wrong...i am as health conscious as the next person (probably even more than averagely concerned), but I refuse to have my every hobbies and likes dictated by some pimply, bottle bottom thick glasses wearing, nerdy goodie two shoes with nothing better to do than waste money on why we shouldn't fart because it endangers the Ozone layer and the lungs of the Polar Bears.
I say Drink wine, eat chocolate, ride naked in the rain if it pleases you... FFS...Live and have fun!
I feel hurt
Read this guy to get an idea about what scientists actually think about this stuff.
(OK, he's actually a doctor, not a scientist.)
