Blah Chets round 3 : A day to forget

Got up at 6 in the morn and checked outside wet but not raining, could be okay.Hooked the trailer to the car and off to the track first song on the radio Bonjovi "going down in a blaze of glory" whoa thats not a good omen.

    QUALIFYING :
I knew i had the wrong tyres for the day so the plan was to just get on the grid, cruised around a bit just getting a feel for this wet weather thing wow this is hard, pull in tthe pits only to find the transponder fell off and if its broke i have to pay, oh shit. I somehow qualified in 7th.

    RACE 1:
Got a good start then slowly fell back bloody michelin pilots! Had a good little battle with rusty for a while then he left me for dead, crossed the finish line happy to make it back.check my finishing result what the f#$k what do you mean i didnt finish, after talking with tim gibbs he found the mistakeand put me in 7th (i thought i would be 16th.)

    RACE 2:
Good start watched the vfrs bugger off before falling off on the esses (left hand side of the tyres would not heat up all day) broke the brake lever so had to stop.

looking forward to the next round i like all those corners, just hope it doesnt rain as i wont have any wets anyone out there want to sponsor me with wets? HA HA see you all next round

You gave it a bloody good lunge Chet. I've been really suprised by the emotional ups and downs of racing. You seem to be taking it in your stride.

Nah not too bad transponder was ok when they found it and it looks like only a broken front brake lever, even the paint looks ok under all that mud. will wash this weekend and find out for sure.

Chet, you did a bloody good job out there mate, considering you wer'nt on full wets. It was so dam hard to pass you that i did'nt know which way you were going to slip and slide next, you had me cracking up mate. Great racing, bugger you had the big slip through the eas'es the last race, would have been nice to dice it out till the end. Cheers see you at the next round.

Chet, was @#$ckin hilarious following you for a lap or so until I lost my bottle. You seemed to be catching about 8 slides a lap.

You looked like you were in practice for some kind of stunt show entering the front straight and i was a bit worried about you for a while but you just kept on going lol.
Good results man and see you next round.
