    beware: that can very often mean it's a troubled bike - why spend the money just to sell it?

    many people on trademe will ruin/sieze a bike, barely fix it and then flick it off before anything else goes wrong. seen it happen many times before.

    sure there are genuine sellers who actually take care of the machine, but too often they aren't

    Yeah good point.

    Btw, long since the start of this thread I have found top end rebuild parts including pistons rings gudgeons and gaskets for 390NZ dollars. Pretty good when you hear of people spending 700 on RGVs sometimes. If anyone wants to know where to get the parts just shoot me an email.

    If you have to ask these questions I'd suggest you're probably better off not doing it yourself. Just saying.

    I have a ns 250 r that i need a piston and rings which as a standred part are impossible to buy
