No, but my father, who's been rinding half of his lifetime, sais for 200cc it's very good...!

But I might get some experience with other bikes soon, to compare.

And of course the guy who sold it said it's a great engine, and he also said it AFTER I bought it.

well good luck then! hopefully it's as reliable as the original honda motor. do remember to post up either way before (or after) you sell the bike

    .

Be interesting to know how the brakes cope with the extra go! All 144 cc of standard power seems more than enough for the brakes anyway!

Hi guys. Just jumping in here a bit late cause my boy has been doing one of these beasties up recently (and doing a fine job I might mention), and now would like to adjust the tappets. Anyone have any idea what the gaps would be on this model of donk (or anything similar really)? Any advice or pointers to possible info would be appreciated. Cheers.

it's essentially the same motor as an XR or XL so that might be a good starting point....

GL145 is hard as to find parts and manuals for as they were only released in a couple of asian countries and NZ. a bit of a strange model. Nice quick motors though!
...Full throttle till you see god, then brake.

I surely do own one but I don't have a manual. The fella that sorts out all my problems is Kevin down at KG motorcycles in Christchurch. He's pretty onto it when it comes to small engines and making them go faster!
