    Swingarm Problem

    Hey guys,

I'm trying to put the swingarm back in on my CBR250 MC22, it's a really tight fit. There's a nut sort of a mechanism on the right hand side of where the swingarm sits (when viewed from the rear). This has a hex head and also a castle nut. How on earth do I get this out?

    Any help, much appreciated

The hex bit should be the adjuster that sets up the preload on the swingarm bearings, thats why its hard tight to get the swing arm in if you did not undo it. The castle nut is the lock nut for the adjuster.
These pics are from my Fireblade manual, showing how to put it together. Yours should be similar.

Go here http://www.manualz.info/ to get a maintenance manual and the servicing guide summery. You will need those to get the torques to get the right preload on the bearings.
(the maintenance manual is a single huge pdf, and may take a while to download, but will be worth it)
