The barometer is reading 955 down from 1020 at 9:30 this morning and is still falling. God I love storms!

It's just starting to hit in earnest here in the Waikato,the barometer is just plummeting! Driving my Pajero this afternoon and the altimeter was on 500 metres.

The Waikato River is still very high here from last weeks rain,with this lot dumped in we may get some flooding.

Here are some photos of the beach front by us. And the full force of the storm has not hit yet. Just talking to one of the residence who will probley be flooded out tonight .
