There's a newly privately imported 800 in the Motorad workshop in Wellington at the moment. Apparently they are having issues getting it vin'd for the customer due to the headlight reflecting the wrong way and they can't get a new headlight for it.

They just need to borrow one.
When I bought my first Nordwest it had been sitting on the shop floor for 6 years and got re-vinned with a Suzuki headlight and then they put the original one back in once it'd been done.

put the new E-09 on today what a flippin mission that was (my 1st unnaided)
2.5 hours, getting that new carcass over that last bit of rim was an iron bending nuckle grazing rim marking friggin head ache(no pinches but), but it was worth it now she's all go for the summer
couldn't break the bead so this is my recipe for a tight one:
place wheel on ground under tow bar, place jack on tyre, wind jack against towbar, pop goes the bead.will post up a photo of all the new gear on the beast as soon as i can

Note to self, put towbar and jack in tool kit before next trip

Carry a small bottle of slippery stuff, (dishwash liquid etc). Pour it around the bead, and "walk around/on top" of the bead, curse, swear, and pry levers into it until it gives up.
Has worked for millions of riders for decades. (have a hipflask of booze with you, Vodka is best).

You don't have to ride very fast at all for a front to pop off the bead
