    Unhappy Bee sting...

Hey have any of you lot got any ideas that I can use on my bee sting...
Its getting really itchy and it hurts.. YES we got the sting out..

I can't take any other meds at the moment, due to a very strong med that I have started taking now for the next week. (health reasons)...
So any maori potions are a go... just anything....to help ease it...

The sting is about one inch down from my carpel tunnel operation scar... on the soft part of the forearm/ wrist. I have some pain up my arm... so the venom is travelling...

And yes the bloody bee died...

Not sure of spelling, but ask at chemist for Kayline/Cayline pultice, looks like mud from Rotoragvas, stinks a bit, but a good way to suck the posion out.

Cold compresses will help with the itchiness. Ice or an chilly bin pack wrapped in a tea-towel works well.

If you think there's any sign of a secondary infection get it checked by a doctor.

I saw you all coming down the tar river between Whitanga and Kuaotunu - me heading north. They must have used a particularly cheap contractor thru there - diabolical by mid afternoon

Talking We were all at Manfield!!!

DEATH (INC) Not a lot of kb'ers (4 kb'ers not counting myself and draco),most of the group was my mates, where were you all on such a great day???

Sounds like you had a great ride! Unfortunately we had to go to the Manfield Track Day and it was one of the best riding days I've had. Heaps of fun on the RGV 250 trying to dice with 4 strokes up to 4 times the size. Really well organised . No major offs and no wet tar on the track unlike the ride home thru the Para Para's and Kawhia backroads. Still an awesome ride home but totally knackered after 1300km's.

Hey nice to meet you Dave - yeah after you & I went our seperate ways, I headed home over the Kopu Bridge & saw the pack waiting to cross. I went back, met them at Mobil & then went up to Coromandel, had lunch & then headed back home. Had a good ride despite the neck pain. Hope to see you out there again soon. I ride out you way quite often so I am sure we will catch up.

Thanks for your company to Coromandel guys & gals, nice to meet you - good to see you all had an uneventful trip over to Whitianga etc.
