    Dr-z 400 sm

    Buy my DR-Z 400 SM K5 !

I want a (proper) sports bike again. I've rode this around Auckland a couple of times, it's totally unstoppable on those disgusting roads. I can't see how anything could be better.

It's taken me everywhere and back again, never gave me any trouble. Except the numberplate bracket/light broke a couple of times. It's still got warranty left.

I'm selling it on trademe. Here is a link to the auction: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=167923741

Why do you want a 'proper sportsbike' again?

I'm still caught between getting a motard or a faster sportsbike. When I can actually afford it.

I want something that'd be good fun at a track day, can ride around on the roads and not have to pick my moment to pass and let's face it I'm immature and like new stuff. I wouldn't mind keeping it, but keeping 3 bikes road legal and insured is just silly and expensive.

Tell ya what then, because I'm such a good mate, I'll look after it, maintain it, rego it and insure it for ya.

Then, when you want it back, you still own it!

    I know, I know, I'm a good bastard.

    Or maybe the new 750?
Aprilia is banging out some fine bits of kit IMHO
(even won Pikes Peaks this year with a modified 525).

Yes, both those Aprilia's are the shit I agree. But I want something with.. um... a little less ground clearance.

These bikes are awesome. A good buy for 5k at those Kms too. Does it still have warranty?

Yoshi full system, K&N, dynojet stage 2 kit, and 3x3 mod and they go like stink.
Long stand-up wheelies in 2nd are a doddle.

Good luck with the sale. You should mention the exhaust system has like 1000kms on it.

Get a motard upgrade. It's not ground clearance that's your problem, you've just got one with shite off road suspension. There are plenty of other 'tards out there with specifically road suspension that give quite a different ride. No wallowing, no massive diving.
