    Wanted: Nylon Bungs by Saturday

I need nylon bungs or else my Dad isn't going to allow me to go to the track on Saturday. Anyone know where I can get hold of some Today or Tommorow?

Are they easily fitted on? My KX took a bit of work fitting some bungs on.

    I'll search up the number

    Trackday protection

It might be faster to take your fairings, lights, indicators mirrors etc off

I've already got the left and right fairings off, should I take the headlight fairing off and the rear fairings off? If I take the rear fairings off, I have to disconnect the lights aswell and I don't want to bugger that up

I wouldn't worry about the rear fairing/taillight assembly. If you drop your bike on its side, its your side fairing, mirrors and indicators that get caned.

Take the headlight off if you're planning on aiming for the tyre wall.

I've just been out in the gargre and taken off the rear fairings and I managed to un-plug the brake light assembly. Tried taking the front fairing off but the fake ram air intakes were a pain in the ass and parts were falling off that I had to spend an half hour figuring where the hell they came from, and I was worryed about damaging the fuse box while I was at it. I told my Dad about F1 engineering, but he wasn't keen on that idea for some reason.

I might get the chopping board and the hack saw out

Front fairing is easy to get off. If you already have the side fairing off then its just the mirrors and the bolt inbetween the headlights that needs to be taken off. Leave the ram air intakes on there. I wouldnt bother taking the rear fairing off aswell. If they are gonna get damaged then they will be the least of your worries.

If you want to make sure nothing gets damaged if you crash then you better take the tank off aswell

Dont worry about taking your top fairing off.... if you do drop it, your handle bars should save it, you will want the top fairing for wind protection. I did it on my ZXR400 when i has no top fairing and it gets bloody tiring doing 180kmh+..... dont bother with the rear ones either...

Maybe, but when I had my lowside the front fairing came off worst. But you do need it for wind protection.

Don't know why you take all the fairings off. Do you want to crash or something?
