Don't go to orchestra, Uwe won't mind will he? (Is it still Uwe conducting the orchestra?)

If you come then I'll have someone to ride with!
It's not uni orchestra but yes Uwe is conducting this orchestra too

I'm sure he don't mine 3rd seat of first violin wag that day

Too much uni stuff atm so I might not even play in this concert anyway haha

So which bike are you gonna take to the ride?

Bah, there are enough violins anyway, a couple missing won't make any difference, it's not like you play the euphonium or baritone or bassoon or something.

If I go I'll be taking the Zeal, my GX125 can't sustain 90+km/h for extended periods (well actually I've never tried, but 95km/h is nearly at redline in top gear, so...).

Ride details posted in the updated first post - though I'll chuck them here too:

Weather permitting (i.e. check the thread on Sat morning or txt me):

Meet at AKL UNI gym 9am Symonds St
Departing 9.30am sharp - won't wait for stragglers, your only chance will be catching us at Kopu.
We will probably split into two groups - Slow and less slow.

Expect to be at Kopu Mobil around 11am for a regroup.
Lunch could be at the infamous Coroglen Pub or whereever the group wants it to be.
At lunch we assess how far along the loop we are and whether we should do the whole thing or the half one.

Expect to be back in Akl between 4-5pm for the BBQ!

We will hit kaiaua on the way down and State highways coming home.

Sweet. All the usual stuff i.e. a good night's sleep, warm clothes, good safe bike etc etc.
