The answer is no. A friend imported a TYGA NC30 (which is a stunning piece of machinery and I am thinking about buying) and it had to have front stalk indicators fitted to get certified in NZ. This was for the version that has the indicators in the headlight assembly. The issue is with the viewable angle. The headlight mounted indicators are only really a "straight on from the front" type of deal.
I have to agree that the NC30 or NC35 with TYGA kit added makes a very nice bike indeed.
