This is a Suzuki FX 125 bike, made in Malaysia. This is a unique bike on the NZ roads as it is the size of a scooter but has the power of a small motorbike.
This is a 4-stroke bike. The engine is oil cooled and has a dual overhead cam. Its design is such that it gets an amazing amount of power for a bike of its size, far greater than a scooter of equivalent engine size.
It is also super efficient on fuel - 40km per L...try getting that in a Vespa!
One great thing is that it is a manual, giving you the control of a larger bike but the maneuverability of a small bike. This would serve as a great learner's bike for those looking to buy a larger bike once fully licensed.
This bike is built to last for a long long time!! This bike is designed for commuting unlike larger sports bikes which overheat in stop and go traffic.
I have had a blast riding this bike, but its time to upgrade to a larger bike.
Bike is in fantastic condition. Note, it does not come with the top box.
