The return spring is in the master cylinder to return the piston to it's original position.

Coyote as well as all the suggestions above make sure the lever pivot point is in good condition i.e. no corrosion around the pivot or the pivot bolt. This and the return spring have the greatest bearing on whether or not the lever returns as it should.

had the same issue last night. bit of sanding on the lever pivot bolt and a grease on any friciton surfaces freed it up better than ever

U can check the master cylinder return by hand easily enough.

You do realise you have to bleed the air out of the brakes by pumping the fluid thu them aye....

Yeah, I know that one, cheeky bastard In fact I thought I knew everything since this is not the first time I've asked how to bleed brakes, but I always seem to not get the right result.

Got the whole day to do something. Should make a start. Ought to see if the engine is still going, likewise with the minimoto.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
