Camping at Taupo track?

Having just had a read of the latest Norton Owners Club newsletter, there is an article regarding the final Classic race meet at Puke which goes on to say "we will not be able to camp at Taupo if it goes there".

Are people still allowed to camp at the track at Taupo or are things about to change?

Hi guys,

You are apparantly no longer allowed to camp at the old circuits pits.
Our Taupo Road Race Spectacular on the 27th and 28th of December allows camping for competitors only on the 27th night at the track, this is because we are a 2 day meeting and we pay a security guard to be there.
I can't comment on what the classic guys are doing.
