Brought My Baby Bike Back - 250cc

Now all we need is that beautifull sunshine and a good turnout of fellow bikers and we'll have a great day.
Looking forward to meeting you all. And if anybody needs to contact me after I leave in the morning you can text or call me on: 021-728158

Hey I will be there too - with my little old 250cc FZR Yammy which I have re-purchased back - cos I loved it so much.....

This was the bike I rode after being away from motorcycling for 20 years, and it was more fun than you can shake a stick at. !!

Coming with SP Man and a friend also, so should be a great day. See you all there.

Everything is always okay in the end.
If it's not, then it's not The End.

A 250 should get more than just 150

    Arse

Fo those of you who may have worried about my disappearance, I had
a minor low speed bin in gravel at the side of the road in Clevedon. I am fine, bike is bent but rideable. Will start another thread to let you know the details.

Hope you all had a good day. I didn't have anyone's cellphone no. 'til i got back into town, so I couldn't contact anyone.

Sorry to hear of your little incident, El Dopa. A similar thing happened to me some time ago at the Kaiawa toilet - they had put some new gravel down and it was a lot deeper than before. I ended up with my right ankle trapped under the bike. Fortunately no damage to me or the bike but I needed help to lift it off!

The ride today was great. Only problem was the frequent stops. Normally I don't mind but the only way to keep cool today was to keep moving, and within a minute of stopping I was dripping with sweat. I did ask if anyone would mind if I took my leather pants off but I got a funny look so decided not to...

And then at a stop on the way back I noticed the XJR slowly tilting over as the sidestand dug into the melting tar.

But an enjoyable ride with some good roads and good company. Thanks, everyone.

    El Dopa

We _were_ worried about you - but by the time we'd really figured that you weren't with us, we were at Kaiaua. Glad to hear that you are OK... Anything that we can do to help?

What a great ride though - nice to finally meet some people, and a great crowd ...

Hmmmm.... it was spooky seeing your stand sinking into the road............

    Very nice ride........

I got late (as usual)......... reached the car park by 10:50......... no one there......

So did some riding around until I found an internet cafe...... went and printed out Sparky's map

highlighted the route, stuck it to my tank and took off........ was a lot of fun trying to catch up....... did my best with my less than 1000kms riding experience..... was trying to do a steady 110 on the straight bits.......

Got passed by some dude on a silver GSXRSomething... was big enough to be a 1000,

I never even saw the fella in my mirrors........ he just appeared next to me passed me and dissapeared ahead........

Caught ZApf and others waiting for ELDopa, they were getting quite worried by this time and I think one of them went to find you........glad to know you're safe.

Anyway I managed to carry on and the rest of you know the rest

CAN THOSE FELLAS THAT TOOK THE PICS PLEASE POST THEM????
