It is my mums birthday nest month so I am taking her to the gold class movie theatre.

She loves movies and I recon she will think it is great.

You could get her a ticket on a credit card and have it available at the counter for her to pick up.

^ Smart lady. Something to pamper her. Something your mum may not think to get herself.

There's your problem. If you treat them too well they come to expect it.

Go with something really different for ya Mum. What about a ticket for a Tandem Sky dive. My Mum's 89 and she told me once she would have loved to do that when she was younger.

Your Mom sounds awesome mate! I am going on the pamper/treat/spoil route. Infact all Moms need the same. 007XX is on to it!

Smaller lovely things are scented candles and the holders to put them in. Oil burners and the yummy oils you can buy. Sometimes a bit of mm mm mmmmm is worth as much as an expensive day spa treatment. FLOWERS!!!! What can I say? They are so lovely!

Wow! She sounds like an amazing lady.
I think 007XX is really onto something here!

If she is the sort of lady that is too busy looking after every one else and you think she won't take the time out to go to the spa... Maybe try get her something she can have at home? For example...

A basket of Chocolates (or her favourite treat), candles, face masks, bath crystals etc... Get creative and even if you're on a pretty small budget I'm sure you could achieve something nice
