The Boy Racer and My Letterbox.

At 8.00pm tonight I was sitting looking at KB when I hear the sound of tyres spinning, big time...WTF I think and start to get up,then I hear a HUGE bang,or atleast several of them - there has been a major accident outside and I race out to see.We are on a corner section and I'm not sure which road it's on,so go out the back and race around the front of the house - a car has lost it on the corner, come sideways across our front lawn, taking the letterbox clean of - we later find it on the front steps of the house next door...it hit their wall and bounced off.The Boy Racer Familia then went sideways through the corrogated iron fence with 6in posts,it was flung back on itself like it was a gate,it took out the neighbours letterbox and 6x6 post, this was found on the bonnet of another car - it also took the wooden powerpole completely off, just a stump on the ground, powerlines across the road.Just absolute fucking kaos!!!!!

In the flat next door live my daughters(the eldest and her boyfriend were with me)The youngers boyfriend ran out the front door yelling at Elsie to ring the police, she tries but the phone is dead,Jason is an Army Medic and someway to being a doctor and is nearly the first on the scene - the passenger is upside down with his head under the passenger dash, his feet over the drivers seat,Jason starts checking him out and he wakes up,but just lies there,at this stage I'm at the car trying to figure out the scene.

Some abuse is being yelled at another car and right in front of me is an arguement, and older guy telling a boy to just fuck off outa here,I see him jump in his car and wheelspin off,the mother turns up sceaming,a girlfriend, his mates,a totaly confusing madhouse, but I piece it together. In 5 minutes fire appliances are there, ambulance at the same time and police a minute or two later...impressive.

What happened - two cars racing down Universal Drive from Lincoln Rd,the Mazda lost it at Rathgar Rd and started to spin, this is why I though they were doing a donut, there are 4 wheel tracks the cops marked out on the road as he came sideways up the curb and over our front lawn, through the fence and taking out the powerpole, slamming into 3 cars parked in front of the house next door, they are all damaged, the first hit a right off for sure, then it spun and smashed into the deck of the house, just missing a 4th car. This driver was really upset as he had just moved it seconds before, today he was at the funeral of a mate and children, killed in a crash,he reckons he doesn't want to drive again.

A puzzle to me is why all the friends and relatives appeared on the scene so quickly, but they live in Rathgar Rd and could see the accident from the house, but some were there at the same time as me,who lived right next door - I think they may have been spectating the ''race''.The other car appeared later, down the side road outside our place.Must of been a dozen cops, interviewing everyone there, but not me or Jason who apart from those in the house hit were the first there.

I might have a late night, they are putting in a new pole already - right outside my bedroom.

Oh,the driver? I couldn't believe he was still alive and not a mark on him,Jason says he has a broken sternum and ribs,he sure didn't like the bouncing on the stretcher, but the could be other injuries - the seat was layed back boy racer style, good for control eh and means the seat belt doesn't work.Another thing - why did Mum and girlfriend and brother and uncle hang around? Surely a trip into hospital to see how he is would be top of the list?

So - what did you do tonight?

That sort of thing happens in just about any street in West Auckland. Mine is particularly good because they can complete circuits with left hand turns only. Even the little diversions in the middle of the road don't slow them down.

What dickheads - can't they find somewhere safer to do that shit rather than in a residential area.

What if they had taken someone out on the front lawn - Methinks the drivers injuries would be alot worse if they had.

Thats what I hate about most of the boyracers...... and by boy racers I mean your usual Fast and Furious crowd..... zero driving ability and even less sense.

Anyway that sweet boy in the mazda will remember not to do this again as he works overtime paying off the damage he caused.

Did the cops do anything or give them a lollipop and tell them not to do anything again?

god damn it what the hell is 'boy racers' problems, Ok I admit I speed, only within my known limits in a relativley safe situation, I'm a 'biker' its expected - but I dont screw around with my car cut the springs and expect it to corner like a friggen F1 car, I mean for craps sake, what if the hit the house or something, and there was a loss of inoccent life - all becuase his dicks to fucken small and the dirty prick hasto fucken race homos in other 'tricked' out cars, I might be stepping on toes here but this is my opinion.

Something really needs to be fucken done, I'm sick to fucken death of NZ roads, and pricks that tailgate me and expect me to drag them, sadly the must not realise that my dick is plenty big enough - anyway glad no one was seriously hurt and I will shutup before I start something I dont want to.

wow... Good thing you stayed inside then. Most likely the guy couldnt see the bloody road sitting in his Ultra Trendy Boy Racer Position™...

did you by any chance stick your business card in the damaged cars? There might just have been some work in it for ya... Looking at your sig though, it seems you could do without more

Dude, he must have been moving if he was able to take out a wooden power pole... What if some kids were playing outside in the lawn... That is so not cool!

In light of today I have changed my sig to something more appropriate.I went for a walk earlier and saw the front lawn covered in some greasy un eaten chip cartons, yuk.Standing around looking at the carnage we noticed a small earing box under our bedroom window,no way it could fall out - we have some windows in the fort open these days of heat, someone has put their hand in and found something.Today we found the cat with a front leg trapped in her collar,Jason said it was not possible for her to do it herself, someone has done it to her.West Auckland is hell.

No no, *Universal Drive* is hell. With a bit of squinting at a map, it almost qualifies as (shudder) Ranui.

Embrace the Dark Side and move to Tatters Norf, dude. It's gone all posh.
