A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

I'll leave the image that size, livin on the edge, stickin it to the man, that sort of stuff. Attached images are not a problem, I just have to muck about with em to get em the right size.

While I'm at the help desk, how do you give people good or bad rep ?

You could keep it in-house and just host your images in one of your KB albums btw
Makes it easy to add them to groups and stuff too.

So what is the verdict? I know that the [IMG]BLAHBLAHBLAH[/IMG] works in some of the subfora - but not in others. What is the exact syntax to use if you want to embed a web image in a "General Bike Ravings" thread?
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

ah, if its the case that IMG tags don't work in the subforum, you'll have to use what I posted before.

I can't post it exactly, as it will try to read it properly and won't show, but all the details are in a previous post.

    1. Don't use [IMG] unless its in PMs. The forum ONLY works with HTML:
    HTML Code:
     <img src='www.link-to-image.net/file.jpg'/>
    2. Use www.imageshack.us for hosting. It's free, it's fast, and you don't have to sign up.
    3. Learn to resize. You can do it in paint. Open the image, go to 'Image' menu and select "Sketch / Skew", and then enter a percent value. Putting in 50% will have the size of the image. If you use a editor where you can enter pixel size, use 800 px width.

    Copy paste this

Most reputable sites will have an 'embed' area where you copy text from and paste it into the "Reply" in the forum.

Another question for the wise ones
img code is on when I look at this thread, so I guess I can embed images here, but when I try to embed them in a thread I started in adv/dual purpose the img code is disabled.
    WHY ?
    Can I change this ?
Also how can I have an animated avatar.

I believe the img code is disabled in some forums... no idea why. use the img src code instead.

Animated avatars simply need to be compliant with rules (dimensions and size) and umm... be animated? Gifs are allowed.

Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....
