    Boot zip replacement

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good boot repairer. The zip on my sidi vertigo corsa boots has broken and I need it replaced.

As an aside, if anyone was thinking of getting these boots I would not recommend them at all. For $700 you would expect them to be able to withstand more than 1 crash. The zip down the side doesn't have sufficient protection to stop it being damaged in a crash. Also all the extra gizmos and gadgets on the outside don't really help too much in a racing situation, catching on various parts of the rearsets etc. I much prefer my alpinestars but the toe is worn through so I had to replace them.

    Anyway, recommendations please.
    Cheers

Have a work with your local horse saddle maker.
I had two zips repaired in my leather bags by a one. nobody else would concider it.

We have a couple of shoe repair places around here in the Eastern Bay. One is a mobile operator and the other works out of his garage. Yellow pages or go for the Saddlery as Subike said..
