The seniors (in size - not age ) are still at 16, although I have only received 12 entries in my hand as yet, and another 4 entries confirmed, but yet to receive.

Not having the Juniors race (20 bikes at $120) makes me loose another $2400. I will still try to put on the senior race if we get to 20, but I will go backwards financially pretty quickly!! All the things I wanted to do with this Endurance meet will have to wait. It's a damn shame. I'd love to see 30-40 bikes going hard for 3 hours, and so too would the public.
I still can't believe in this bike mad country that we can't scrape together 40 mis-fit bike mad nutters for this!!

Since the jnr side of things are looking like they will be scraped is there any chance of us being a extra class on the day for a couple of sprint races to fill in the day this way if the day goes on you will still get extra cash from us but just not running us as a endro setup... just an idea.
its a total shame that this is the case as for jnr bikes dont get a chance to run in endurance races I would have thought that half of the f3 fields and pre89 jnrs from club racing would be keen on this, i guess total loss ignition is the killer with some guys.
Growin' up as a kid, always thinkin', you know If I could ever just race motorcycles and make a living that would be the coolest thing know to mankind.

If we do get enough seniors to run, we will look at another class for filling in the morning. Don't know what yet. Clubmans? Roadbikes? Supermotos? Sidecars? Two-up races????

I too thought the same. So many people wanted to, but it is what it is.......
Total loss wouldn't be a prob over 1 hour. My ZX10 sidecar used to race all weekend on a total loss system, including fuel pump.
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??

Well if you run a clubmans class count me in.... I still wanna ride one way or another just cant afford a senior bike between now and then

I in with Worm13 as a partner on the nice shiney bike you see at the left. Would be keen as hell to get out and do 3 hours on it. I am not keen to strip down my 11 year old TL1000s just to race seniors.

I wanna race - the only issue I see with lumping in with the seniors is the straight line speed on the 2 little straights, we can carry pretty much the same if not better corner speed.

What say you scrivvy? Can we ????? pretty please?? It WOULD make the numbers up.

    Cheers

    Hi guys,
Chris Lawrance is coming to Taupo today to check out the MotoTT boys and to flag at the MotoX this weekend. While he's here, we'll see how many entries we have as of Sat. afternoon, nut out what we're gunna do and let you guys know what's happening by Sunday night if possible.

If there are any more interested people to do the Junior class, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me your intentions prior to Saturday night, as we may just scrape enough together ???? I know I've said the juniors are canned, but we've had a few more give us entries - still way below the 20 at this stage, but it just might get there if people pull finger...... after all, the juniors is only for 1 hour!!!

Jamie Rajek has been putting in the hard yards for me a bit lately, and has tried to get some prizemoney up for grabs. I don't know if it's 100% yet, but if it is , it makes it even better for some of you!!

I just hope this goes ahead.
Even though I lose money on this event, I can't see anyone else prepared to do that also, so can't see this being attempted again in the near future.
