    Unhappy Fell off my bike

    Had my first accident today.

Went through the corner, which I do almost everyday. Lean too much for the wet road. She slipped and threw me off to the front.
Lucky, speed wasn't high and didn't hit by other cars.

Lesson learnt: always be careful and pay attention, even on a familiar route.

My handle bar is tilted (not sure other damage except the scratches).
Do you have any recommendation on good workshop for Suzuki in Wellington?

Take care everyone. Have a safe ride.

Good that you are ok. The tyres on the GN's are a challenge in the wet ... I didn't like riding when it was wet when I had my GN. There are a few threads on KB about changing the tyres, might pay to think about it if you're planning on riding in the rain. Take care out there

    Bummer. Which corner?

Lesson 2: rain sucks. Also, the stock tyres on a GN (new?) are famously bad. Get them changed before ... oh, sorry ... well, before it happens again then.

(shrug) Did you buy it off Wellington Motorcycles? They're OK. Not cheap. Boyles can be good with that sort out thing.

yes, i bought it from Wellington Motor, but heard their workshop is not so good.
    Sent it to Motorad.
many say GN250 comes with cheap tire. thinking of change it. Hope still have $ for that after the repair.

Accidents suck! Had my first one yesterday, Ford territory changed lanes on me, and I met the tarmac. Pretty crazy how fast it happens lol.

Friendly bunch. wouldn't quite call them sluts of the motorcycle world, but yeah they'd sort you out no probs , and at less cost than the others.

She threw you off to the front? You were braking? If so, then that's the reason you had a bin, not because you were going to fast.
    Ride fast or be last.

Boyles get my vote. Definitely get that front tyre replaced as they appear to be shit.

Please change that tyre! I could not believe how slippery the standard tyres are! Pathetic really. Hardly confidence builders for a new rider. Change them. No matter the $$$. Change the tyres as opposed to repairs that are cosmetic is my advice.
