I undid the idle adjuster on my cbr250rr...

It's an mc22 ('95) It completely unscrewed. Now i'm trying to find where the hell it screws back into. Have got the tank and airbox off, but cant find any obvious place to put it back in!
Am not very technically minded but thought this would be something I could rectify without paying an hours labour at the bike shop.
Anyone have any Ideas? Would shout a few beers for anyone local (Hamilton) who could help me out.

    Cheers

There may be a fitting on one end of the bank of carbies that the throttle cable attaches to...the idle adjuster screw should go in there? If not, and it is a longish screw with a large plastic head (for fingers to hold), then it is likely to fit somewhere between carbs 2 + 3?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

it will probably go in the same place you unscrewed it from.

Tank etc off? If so, you should be able to look straight down and see the link bar that the throttle turns? Open the throttle completely and you may see where the adjuster screw fits.

    oh god no
the cbr's are nototorious for being a tricky to get those back in, ages ago someone mentioned to me that you had to pull most of the engine apart to do it. how correct they were I don't know. I will try and locate it my manual. If you want a copy of the whole thing, it send me a PM, otherwise I will post the page when I find it

I found these. it looks like it goes into the bottom of the carb.
this is from a manual that covers a wide range of the CBR250's, but they are very similar. The Supplemental at the back that includes your model doesn't have any changes to this. so I reckon you might be a bit stuck with pulling the tank and airbox off at the minimum
