To be quite honest, not a clue. Not quite sure where to start so am still doin homework for the interm, as I've found out my budget of 2k is not going to cut it so maybe best that I get maybe 2.5k for a half decent beginners bike.

As for the BHS, am soooooo crapping myself about it as I've never ridden a bike on my own but it's still gonna be a pretty mean ride though!!! Muahahahaha...can't wait, will enquire with those cats at riderskills for some more info too!

So just an update on this one, my cuz and I managed to sit and pass the BHT (Thanks Phillip)!!! Good Sh*t man!!! However it had to be in the rain of all things lol dammit, anyways, 2hours flew by like nothing and aside from freezing our nads off the experience was dam awesome, we left grinning from ear to ear at the end of it all.

Now onto the important part, getting a bike! With my budget of 2.5k am thinking of still getting a sports bike namely a cbr250 but after riding for my first time I really like the feel of the "cruiser/commuter" bikes though (really comfy) cbr250/gsxr250 is my preference at the moment till I get more info about the hornet.

So apart from selling my Z in order to get my beloved bike I can't dam wait lol

Got mocked for ordering a helmet already off 1tonne and I don't even have a bike yet :P Apparently the gear is costly however durable in the long run and if my bike ever spat me off then I'd be safer so sweet as

Any info/input feel free to let me know

Go for a CBR250. My wife has one and I ride it all the time (I have a GSXR750) as it is such a fun bike. They are also rated by the Spanner Man (from the Motorcycle Trader) as the best 250 ever made.
The GSXR250 is prone to having carbs problems and from what I have been told, because of this common problem they are one of the worst 250's ever made. (I am a GSXR fan as well, so I have nothing against Suzuki)
