Leather trousers

I have recently purchased a pair of leather trousers and although they fit on the leg and bum I am finding that the waist is too big.

I was wondering if the designers of leather trousers design them for box shaped people or whether I am just a wierd shape. Has anyone else had a similar problem when buying leather?

Mine have like an inbuilt belt either side to make up for that... that and elastic on both sides one inch or so along the seem....Fit perfect
But i am probabbly more box shaped then you are.....
(you would hope so wouldn't you....)

I just got a pair from lifestyle imports on trademe.I'm a staunch Levis supporter and these are the same as my Levis straightleg.Low waist and great fit. I also got some urethane knee armer inserts off him and had velcro straps sewn on and wear them underneath ,they are completly undetectable.

I always get my leather motorcycle pants too big in the waist so I can fit a back protector in them.

Yeah me too!

...well at least I have never been able to get pants that fit both my legs and my waist as I have a teeny waist and athletic and generous thighs

now that I wear a back protector it works out quite well

Back protectors extend from your shoulders down to your tail bone/hips....so you do your pants up over them.

now that I wear a back protector it works out quite well

I will have space for a back protector for sure and as I am moving to NZ I guess I will need room for winter wollies too.
