    Aftermarket Shock for ZXR250 C

    Hey People,

Wondering if anyone knows a manufacturer that makes an aftermarket/performance shock for a 1993 Kawasaki ZXR250 C? The only place I can find so far by doing a web search is Hagon Shocks, but @ $255 UKP or $775 NZD plus shipping its just a little too expensive!

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks

Pickings are always slim for aftermarket shocks for these size bikes as they tend to be regarded as lower cost commuters so people dont usually try to upspec them so much. Any shock listings ( such as Hagon ) are definitely not a performance upgrade, although in all fairness they will probably work a heap better than what you have now.
There is a local distributor for Hagon shocks, if you make an enquiry through your local dealer I am picking that the price will be similiar or even less than buying offshore, with the added bonus that you are putting bread on the table of NZ workers, rather than some faceless company overseas that puts nothing back into our economy. That is about what you will have to pay, there are Chinese aftermarket shocks on the market but the metallurgy and longevity is similiar to a weetbix box.

Have you thought about fitting a zxr 400 sp model shock? It has been done and worked well for a race bike I know. I am also keen to do this swap too being a fat bastard.
    holding the line...
