Madonna buys pre-war outfit

This has to count as one of the odder ways to quash rumours of an impending divorce – buy your husband a pre-WWII outfit!

But this is exactly what Madonna has given husband Guy Ritchie, after “Weeks of going through the mill”. The Material Girl bought Ritchie a 1938 BMW R71, complete with sidecar, at a reputed cost of USD 24,000.

Even if she is living up to the billing, that's a damned fine way to do it.
