I can't make it Sunday, but have just come back from Mangatapu 9am this morn.
Heaps of snow, good fun, bit slippery up top, too much snow in my tyres which are getting low on tread anyway. Took some nice pics too. Will post in my albums later today.

Here's a couple of this morn's pics to tempt you Nelson riders....
Unfortunately I wasn't the first to cut tracks, a poxy 4WD beat me to it, but he'd gone already so I had the place to myself.
I gotta get myself a mini tripod, this self portrait thing sucks.......

You boys gonna head over there today?? Better move quickly before snow melts, it's actually quite warm out there.

great shots Crazy. You just need me standing by taking the photos

I would probably have to set you up by a drop off or mud to capture the pure essence of the KTM in flight.

Put up that one of you going through the stream - I thought it came out well.

I'm keen to do Patriarch next weekend, Sat 16th. I've put a comment on the Patriarch thread as well. Anyone else keen?

    Looks like good times!
Just a couple of questions, as I'd love to take a look............
What sort of difficulty is the Maungatapu? Is access via top of Brook Street - where exactly?
Round trip to Pelorus and back takes how long exactly?
    Cheers.
