Weather will be choice. Have a great ride.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    go hard

dont worry about the once you get past opotiki down sh35, chances are if you see one itll be a ute and hell have his hand out the window holding a ciggarette waving at you. it gets quite bumpy from waihau bay to tologa bay/tokomaru bay, some big enough to get both wheels off the ground easy.
to do it in one day is a big ask as it would be about 800k from tauranga round trip.

Hope you have a good ride Andy. We were round there over Christmas. Lovely scenery.

Be aware of gas - from Omaio to Waihou Bay there's none. But then you probably don't have a 14 litre tank.....

Also there can sometimes be lots of wandering stock.

Let us know how the trip goes!

    Being frustrated is disagreeable.

But the real disasters in life begin when you get what you want.
