    Knucklehead
    Shovelhead

Revolution is the current vrod engine isnt it? Twincams (tc's) are current.
and the Evo I remember from 65hp 90's and is still found in sportster 883 and 1200. Heres where it gets hazy for me. Shovelhead was 80's and the dreaded AMC days. I think panhead was just before that. I dont know the order between flathead and knuckle, im guessing the flathead was first as knuckle would mean to valves or something close.

    So my guess is

    Revolution
    TC
    Evo
    Shovel
    Pan
    knuckle
    flathead

    Close?

On the button sonny, on the button!

To be truthful I never looked up to see which came first - Twin-cam or Revolution so can't confirm that part but I think you have therest right ..

Alright - time to get this back on track I think. I'll use the opportunity to encourage people to at least reading the original post before barging in, cheers.

    Clue #1:
This person never learned to read music and doesn't smell very well anymore.

Nope. This person is still alive and has, among other things, played drums for Jimi Hendrix.

This person with a silver spoon name is famous for facing hardship. Once, to avoid medical fees and delay he cut the tips off his fingers with a fret-saw.

    Good one

Martybabe took my bait about "not smelling very well anymore" I suspect. However, Mr. Wonder lost his sense of smell in a car crash

Now, let's see if McJim will step up and post the next one.

It's not the where that is important, it's the when, which is in just over one hundred years' time.
