No really sounds like a plan, I think you can camp at whmgimnimomonow also.

Have done in the past @ the old school which had a couple of cabins aswell, but that was a few years back. There is/was a camp ground @ Tangaraku as well which do/did a good deal.

yap you can camp out whanga,
if it wet you can stay in the old school that at camp site.
they got couple showers there that are shit ,
but all the cooking gears and the cabins.
we just tent there when trail riding and they charge us 10 bucks a tent.

OK, the original plan was for drinks. dinner and drinks ! for those from out of town a ride was possible. Camping at whanga is perhaps a run on its own. Maybe Boob can look at a drinks dinner thing in NP, accom for any out of towners. I was looking for a social occasion for KB'ers to talk shite, a ride is a bonus.
Your thoughts please.
ps: I have just opened my 2nd bottle of red !!

what ever you arrange is fine paul .. could do a camping weekend when the weather improves a bit ..

a ride out at 1pm would be fine for us coming from outta districts .. if we get there on time sweet if not so be it ...

talking shit/bikes all nite is wot its about for sure .. dunna have to be too flash we bikers can rough it if needbe

nah not at all .. (actually thought it was NP by 1 but then I am old & deluded so I could have read that wrong)

trying to figure out travel times cause I have never been up that far, & of course having to take care of the ponies before I leave

Chanceyy. Hawera is < 2 hours from here. leave by 10.45 and will eaisly make it. Ignore police effect and can knock another half hour off that. Even leaving from levin will only require a 10am start.

but hey no rush .. I prefer not to be on the road with those who think they have something to prove ... so just may take a bit of a detour & arrive late aft
