Great event, well organised. I'd hope to be reminded about more of these rides in the future.
I'm hoping to see some more pics of all the different bikes grouped together (like at Oaonui or at the backpackers) or more riding shots. I'm going to have to buy my own digital camera if we do this more often.
And if anyones got some pics of me on my black 2006 zx10r that would be appreciated.
I've got a few but the computer's being an utter utter arse. I'll whack a couple up tomorrow when it's had some time to think about it's actions on the naughty step.
Here's one for now.
Oh bugger
Where's ya pics Sandra? I'm dying to put some up.....

Keep doing the physio.
My bike was at Robt Taylor's, so every three days or so I'd visit Energy Honda and see if I could bend the knee far enough to get on one of the VFRs in the showroom. It took a month before I could ride.
Could ride the moped after only a few days though.
Good luck

Here's a few more, if you expand them to max they ain't too bad.
Oh bugger
Looks like you all had a good weekend, got a call from a mate late Friday arvo to see if I could double him up to Haldanes to pick up an 03 Ducati 999, think I may have seen a couple of you heading South early Saturday morning. Bloody fog through the Uruiti Valley 2 up @ 0710hrs wasn't that pleasant, got down to 2.2degrees & the ice warning light was on, nicenot.
As mad as a spider, and twice as hairy !
Well all I can say is im a little disappointed, I would of expected a lot more spitting & swearing n stuff from a bunch of bikers![]()
Thanks to all those that came, was a great weekend, great to meet all those that I hadn't prior, always nice to put a face to the name. And a big thanks to Pauly Mac, Paul & Kev for organising the rally. Twas a very entertaining evening indeed. I think the highlight for me was the big purple ball being kicked swiftly across the room at someones head missing them but collecting a table full of bottles & glassesThe look on everyones faces was priceless, all I remember was thinking "don't look at me I ain't cleaning that up"
ps: come on Kev crack out the pics, I saw u taking heaps![]()
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
Sorry i couldn't make it people.
these last few days have been the worst in my farming carrer i think.
i woke up on my birthday to a cow with black mastitis so after treating her then milking then giving her more therapeutic drugs iv i thought she be sweet but no on sunday morning she dead.
on saturday had to calve 1 cow during the day which i rang the vet to come help but befor ehe got there i managed to get the little calf out,
milking time sat arvo a cow sat her arse in the only little hole in the paddock and when she went to stand up couldn't stand up and tipped into the hedge so she was blown up like a balloon so had to stab her to release the gasses.
only had a stanley knife but it got the job done.
call the vet at 3.30pm thinking i'll still get to NP after milking well typical of my luck lately vet arrives at 6 and takes hour and half to check her all out and sew up the hole i'd given her.
by time i check the cows it was getting on near 8pm shattered went home and showered and crashed .
come sunday all ready for trail ride but no my shithouse luck continues.
2 cows calved down run off so had to truck them home and miss my trail ride.
and my bad luck continued today but im over talkin about farming.
im tired and sick of farming at the moment.
think i'll become a male whore and become a school teacher.
i better nake the next Taranaki KB meet.
Got to say that part of farming isn't the best, this time of year especially. At least you didn't have a cow go down with milk fever on the bloody turntable(yet),and half slip off the platform, thank god she responded to magnessium injection lol and got to feet. And that I wasn't a couple of feet closer when she dropped.
Don't need another tornado this year.
