Smile Help me test our new game!

    Hi All,

We have put together a wee flash game and need some people to have a look and let us know what they think.

    It's at http://www.djbattle.co.nz

To play, answer three questions: Where would you like to learn, What would you like to learn and Who would you like to teach you. It then makes a 3D character from photos on Flickr and the DJ with the most popular answers wins.

    Did it load fast enough?
Did it ask you to upgrade Flash?
    Was it fun.

    All comments appreciated!

    Thanks :-)

    Alright, gave it a go.

I had to install Flash Player 9, but I just blame my lack fo watching or playing Flash items in blardy ages.

It loaded up in about 12 seconds, perfectly fine for me.

Was it fun..? Err, besides the fact that I had no clue what I was meant to do with the exception of typing words for questions that didn't really make much sense, yes. I think I enjoyed it.

For example.. one opponent I got:

Where are you learning? Water (This should be swapped in position with question two, make more sense..)
What are you learning? Cat (how do you learn cat?!)
Who's teaching? Kirk (Star Trek fetish?)

And I answered, Ocean, Swim, God and won somehow?! Not sure on the criteria of winning.

Was a good game, and the people with random skins were entertaining to watch, I just didn't really understand what the hell I was doing..

No glitches that I experianced, except once the man came with just his wire frame, no skins. But it all seems to be set up quite well.

From a person who used to design Flash Games, well done!

With internet download manager v5.11 it didn't work at all.
Offered to download a .z file which I had nothing to do with.

Loaded fine, no error messages or glitchers. But had no idea what it was all about.

Loaded very fast (6 secs) without any issue.

I answered the questions, and apparently battled someone but I'm not sure how I lost, why I lost or why the other guy won

Yes, it is a bit hard to understand. Essentially you are battling on the popularity of the words you put in. Whoever has the most popular words, according to Flickr, wins :-)
