    Electrics, and power loss together...

Gday there, after some decent weather in Auckland, I took the bike out for a blow out, anyway, after 150km of riding, I lost most electrics - temp gague, indicators, brake lights, dash lights aren't working, but the starter and head lights still work. The bike has also lost power after 6000rpm, takes forever to redline and then sounds as though it is running on two or three cylinders. Both of these symptions happened at the same time.

I'm not too clued up on bikes, but I did a quick search on here and cbr250.com, and still found bugger all. I'm at a loss as to what would cause it to loose half the electrics and power at the same time.

Any ideas? Much appreciated, before I throw the bastard down the bank...

    Cheers.

Not familiar with your bike, but have a look near your battery/under the seat for fuses....sounds like you have blown at least 1......
    Good luck

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
