Masterton Motorplex are hosting drag racing this weekend. (5th Feb)
Apparently there is a superbike class where you can enter your road bike. Anyone keen?
I'll probably give it a whirl if it's not too much to enter.

I'm pretty keen to have a go as long as it's cheap enough. I heard you needed to turn up and enter on saturday even if you just intend running on sunday though.
I think you'll require an NZDRA licence. A sportsman licence should do and that'll be around $30.
I'd expect about $50 to $80 to enter depending on wether it's a two day event or not.

Actually, you would be better off practising before the event mate.Originally Posted by Sparky Bills

My bro in law said it cost him $90 for one day to take his car in. I think it comprised of an entry fee to the event, an entry fee to compete and the cost of getting a drag licence.
Feck that - where's some traffic lights.

Is it true that it's $20 just to watch? Don't know if it's worth it if it's only a couple of bikes and hundreds of cars.
That'll be right. I actually find competition drag cars farkin unbelievable to watch and would gladly front the $20.Originally Posted by Velox
