    Yet another tyre thread

My current front tyre on my NC24 is beginning to look abit bald, im wanting to replace it.

The current one is a Dunlop Arrowmax GT501 110/90-16 its been on since before I brought it.

    Now here is the questions

The manual states it should be 100/90-16 on the front. should I get the right one or stick with the 110?

Secondly The rear has a Bridgestone BT45 should I get a BT45 for the front? I have managed to get quite a good price I think for a 100/90-16 one
I'm not so fast so it should be alright. I had a BT45 on my FZR and I didnt have any problems with it.

Just wanting to decide whether I should get it put aside

    Thanks

I'll second that, and move you put a BT45 on the front.

the way i ride i prefer skinny sticky tyre on the front, and fat chunky rear.
On my ZXR4 i found the BT45's a good front, they chew out - but they stick good. I say got to 100 on the front.
As for the rear its up to you, but i would look at keeping the BT.

BT45's r so underrated,I had them on my worty old 87 CBR600 & thrashed dudes
on better machinery with better tyres & I thought the BT45's had pretty good grip from cold too!
Having a 16 front, there wont be much selection but i would be happy with the
    Bt's

Yea ive heard the 16 limits choice quite abit. I think the only 2 tyres I managed to find in my short googling for tyres was the GT501 and the BT45, well that I thought would be worth getting, didnt want any of the cheaper stuff

Go the 100/90/16 bt45 on the front , best x ply available for little bikes and I have seen what sosman could do on his shitty old aero .
