I like your comment with the rep thanks... yeah I too think a company bike would be better! Imagine your commercial bank manager turning up for a meeting in his suit on a big V-Twin or a racebike!

yikes.... I hate it when they say that.... gets boring after the novelty of time off wears off! Especially in a wet winter - good luck healing Pete.

This will mean a change in cellphone number too..... will probably be without it for a month as I am likely to have to take "gardening leave" since I will be working for a competitor company.

Still lots of lethargy and a need to get mentally and physically fit again I am doing well. This great news will make recovery so much easier now!

PM me with an update on how you are doing Ed.

So wearing only a tie on the bike would not work for you then?

Thanks! Yep, I hope it can take two seats, especially now my fuel will be free. Apparently we have a range of cars to choose from... but I doubt it will be anything bigger than a mid sized car.

We will have to keep our big Ford Futura station wagon though, as my much loved lady needs a big car suitable for strollers and kids etc during the day to do her motherly duties... and she also works part-time.

We are trying to "make hay while the sun shines", so to speak before she stops work in January before bubba-two arrives.

Might hang onto the Mitsi Lancer for a while yet - it's mint and I have owned it since new. Di would use this one to get to work in the meantime.

Things have worked out so well!
