    Working Class Hero....Cover?

Well, ya learn something new every day...one of my favorite songs of last year turns out to be a cover.

Green Day Released "Working class Hero" in '07...I never realized till tonight that it was on the Broken English Album...shows you how long its been since I listened to Marianne Faithful...

Looked into it...It was first released by John Lennon....in 1970....seems to be a song for any generation...

...ya learn somethin new every day!

Yeah I used to be a hardcore Green Day fan, like so hardcore it wasn't funny. Until one day i discovered Bullet For My Valentine, and now I listen to screamo music.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

That was written and recorded by Bob Dylan. Pete Seeger also recorded a great cover of it, though I forget which album it was on - possibly his Carnegie Hall live album.

Wasn't the Roxy Music version the one that made it famous?
