    Yeah those twins were worthy winners. Felt a bit sorry for the German women - looked like a dead heat for gold.

    Actually the Chinese didn't change the name and most Chinese don't know that outside their capital city experienced a name change. Peking was a British translation of the name but after 1949 China adopted a more correct version = Bejing and in the 1980s the West adopted it.

    There was an olympics (ages ago) where Australia and New Zealand competed as Australasia. Both nations are there as individual nations too.
