    Street stock class?

    Hey guys, im looking at a little bike for my sister to race. I cant find any info on bike specs for street stock? can you ride aprillia rs125 and the likes? whats the actual rule?

    they are the 150 aka rg150/kr150 i believe
    rs125 fits in the 125 class

    Yeah i mean the aprilia rs125, they would get smoked by a honda rs125. I think the 125 is a gp class like the aprilia rs250 can race f3 but the honda rs250 has to race f2

    they are legal i am pretty sure, when i raced 150 many moons ago someone raced one, check the vic club rules,

    not interested in racing the Ninja 250R?.

    Cheers guys, it sorta looks the the aprilia 125 and the mito etc wouldnt be legal maybe an rs125 with a 150 big bore kit!

    Yep you can race em, but rg's are quite a bit cheaper.

    Good class it is too, girls race in it as well so she'll feel welcome .

    I'm not too sure on that. I think you are supposed to leave them standard engine wise. Best best is to get a rg150. Cheap and common.

    +1 a Aprilla RS125 is way too nice too bin, and trust me she'll bin eventdually everyone does.

    I can tell you from a chicks side of things that streetstock is a lot of fun and every one is real supportive

    But yes, best be finding an RG that can be binned with easy to find parts

    you need a RG150 or KR150

    OR a 250 four stroke..
    end of story

    on that note:
    i Know AJturbo has a RG150 for sale...

    or an NSR 150, or CBR150RR or FXR 150.
    The rules are very clear in on MNZ site, tho the Vic club has supplementary rules to include 250 four strokes and also have different tyre rules.
    The Aprilia is legal, we've had them racing in SS before

    Vic club now run seperate points for 250 four strokes and 150 two strokes.

    I think it would be cool to see some eurobikes out there with the local thai stuff but even being a bit of a fan I'm on an rg coz it is the HEAPS cheaper option.
