Street stock class?

The team from the SI last year were all compliant to MNZ rules, which were the same as MNZ rules at this time. This year the team will (again) be compliant to the Vic rules (new for 2008) except we assume "DOT" is a misprint, as most of the bikes are on Bridgestone BT39SS or Dunlop TT900GP. These tyres are not DOT rated, but EU and / or JIS
Also, almost all will have 80/90 fronts, which aren't allowed in the MNZ gazetted list. Again, we assume another misprint. We've tried to have it corrected several times without success
And who was this MNZ "big boss"? Sandry Perry (President) or Paul Stewart (RR Commissioner)? One can only assume they were stating their interpretation of the MNZ rules, WITH the Vic club Supp rules added
