If they didnt ban all the boy racers going into industrial areas at night time to do all their rarkies and diesel drops they wouldnt have to go do it outside residents houses.

Why dont they let them go do their shit up Aerodrome road and all those places, throw a few security cameras in and nab the idiots? That's what they did at sulfur point, the police could catch them, and they had to place to go and do there skids and try and get away. No residents up there so all good i say.

Now we have them coming up and doing burnouts outside our place and shit, they wouldnt of bothered 12 months ago.

They banned boi racers & everyone else from industrial areas because they were causing thousands of dollars worth of damage, now the boi racers are doing the same thing in residential areas instead.

That is an idea as well, but somewhat unrealistic. I just think at the end of the day, they are better off drifting into power polls and running each other over up Aerodrome Road instead of in the middle of suburbia where others are getting affected as well.

I know I'm probably missing something huge, here, but have you considered throwing a coat on, going out into the road, waving down the boi racers and telling them that they're disturbing your family, and would they kindly fuck off and play somewhere non-residential?

Forget threats and violence; I've always found that a spot of verbal judo can be surprisingly effective in such situations.

yes and i got a black eye for my troubles, "so fucking what?" and "well give your fucking rats earplugs" were just 2 of the replies i got when i asked them to go for a drive out into the countryside ...

im not one to jump straight to a violent solution as i dont exactly have the physique for it, tall and skinny i am, running from a fight is my specialty. So please don't think i haven't tried everything both legal and non-violent i can think of ...

because then they kill themselves and other innocent people- and ruin the roads, although I was pissed when they actually tried to make a burnout pad down there, funded the money, council all the while saying yep good idea, then changing their minds once fundraising was finished.....bloody council, but really mate wasn't it down aerodrome road where a teen was killed during these drag races last year? and sulpur point has families going to and from the marina etc, the road is for everyone- and I don't want little cunts yelling abuse at the car my neices and nephews are in-because lets face it boy racers are abusive little cunts too, and to top off the abuse ruining the road and endangering my families life....it's bullshit mate.

Exactly. And how many people do think that speeding is dangerous. Given the mindless nature of the sheeple of New Zealand and the downright dishonest propaganda spouted by the government and its various agencies, a large proportion of the population regard speeding as just as dangerous and drink driving, etc.

Given that I'm addressing a community of bikers, and the only bikers that don't exceed speed limits are dead ones, no doubt you'd all be perfectly happy to be rammed off the road and assaulted just because someone considered that you speeding was dangerous to their kids.

the main issue i think is simply lack of cops on the streets ... if there were more cops they could come to calls like mine immediately and enforce those laws in place ... but while our thin blue line is as thin as it is, then people like Mr Anderson and Murray will be the only way to get the point across to a section of disrespectful youth causing trouble. However I do think that some forms of "vigilante justice" are appropriate. The difficulty is not overstepping.
